I finally found this solution as I noticed that Google Chrome had no sound either and that was where I noticed this fix. Check if the sound is muted and if so, unmute. GTA V needs to be running or it won’t appear. Worked (for me): as per the video, right mouse on the audio icon in the bottom toolbar, open up the ‘Volume Mixer’ menu.So, I’ll start with the fix that worked for me and then list some of the other solutions for no sound that I researched:
